Calculations and optional analytics

Calculations run in your browser. Google Analytics (measurement ID G-YNE1R3NC22) starts after consent in opt-in regions. In supported opt-out regions it may start automatically; you can disable it in Cookie settings. It measures page visits and actions such as starting a calculator, calculating a result, resetting, swapping conversion units and using search. Calculator inputs, calculated results, free text and search terms are not included in our analytics events. Page addresses and referrers have query strings and fragments removed.

Google Analytics may receive technical connection information, including IP address, and use analytics cookies such as _ga. Advertising storage, Google Signals and personalized advertising are disabled. Read Google's privacy policy.

Your choice

Accepting or rejecting analytics does not change access to any tool. Cookie settings at the bottom of every page lets you change your choice. We store the preference in local browser storage for up to 180 days. Withdrawal disables tracking, deletes accessible Google analytics cookies and reloads the page to unload the tag. Global Privacy Control disables optional tracking.

Country detection

Cloudflare derives a country code from the network connection. Our same-origin privacy endpoint returns the country and privacy region, without an IP address. We do not persist the country in the consent record or send it as an analytics event parameter. If detection fails, analytics remains off. EEA, UK, Switzerland and unknown regions require opt-in. The existing regional rules allow automatic analytics in the United States, Australia, New Zealand and Pakistan, and in India before 13 May 2027 using server time. Other countries require opt-in. A saved rejection and Global Privacy Control take priority.

Infrastructure

Cloudflare serves the site and processes requests for delivery and security. Its infrastructure processing is separate from optional Google Analytics. Browser settings can also clear consent storage and cookies.
