What to enter
| Input | Meaning and units |
|---|---|
| CSV input | Text is processed in your browser. Maximum input: 1 MiB of UTF-8 text. |
| First row contains headers | boolean |
Understanding your result
The output applies the selected format or address convention. Encoding is not encryption; a valid address representation does not establish availability, reachability or security.
Common mistakes
- Using a different alphabet, padding, base, delimiter or address-prefix convention than the tool expects.
Check your calculation
- Where a reverse operation exists, round-trip a short known example. Compare structural results with the reference example rather than executing decoded text.

How do I convert CSV records into JSON while preserving cell text?
Convert CSV into JSON arrays or objects, keeping every cell as text.
Common uses
- Convert CSV into JSON arrays or objects, keeping every cell as text.
How it works
Parse quoted fields, commas inside quotes, escaped doubled quotes and line breaks. Both CRLF and LF record separators are accepted. Header mode requires unique nonempty names. All rows must have the same width. Values remain strings: numbers and dates are not inferred. Input is limited to 1 MiB and 10,000 rows.
Worked example
Enter CSV input: name, value Alice,42; First row contains headers: true. The result is Rows: {"name":"Alice","value":"42"}.
